Head session consist of :-  
  • URL - Google always crawls the URL first. We should make sure that the category hierarchy of the given website is reflected in URL.
  • Title - After URL it crawls the title next in the head session. Title is published when the website is enlisted when searched in Google search engine.Many external websites use title tag of web page as its link anchor text. The main points to remember when optimizing a title are :-

        - It should be a meaningful description of the website.
        - It should be impressive.
        - Avoid spelling mistakes.

        - Avoid using capital letters completely.
        - No grammatical errors.

        - Maximum characters allowed in text box is 55 to 65.
        - Maximum pixel width shown by Google is 512 pixel.
  
  • Meta Description - Google crawls the meta description of the website included inside meta tag. Meta description should be unique for each web page and should be optimized by keeping the following points in mind :-
        - Brief description about the web page.       
        - Maximum capacity is 150-155 character for each page.
        - Maximum pixels shown is 1024.
        - Each post should contain maximum of 154-155 character only.
        - No similarity with already published description.
        - Focusing keyword to be used once only.
        - Keywords should not be stuffed in the description.
        - No grammatical errors and spelling mistakes.

If SEO Title is not added then H1 is mentioned in the title space. If there is absence of H1 too then Google place H2 in the space of title. In the absence of both H1 and H2 then Google focus on the keyword in links in the web page.

  • H1 - The most important portion in body session is H1 which is the main heading. If more than one H1 in the same web page then the website will be stored to sand box. The key points in optimizing H1 are :-
        - No grammatical errors and spelling mistakes.
        - Should consist of maximum 7-8 words.
        - Heading should be impressive.

  • H2 - It is the second heading in the body session.Its better to keep one H2 rather than two H2.
  • H3 - It should be related to the content. Here two or more H3 is preferable.

The main points to remember while optimizing the images in web page are :-

  • alt - An image is not searched with its URL, so instead we use alt to the image. It helps the google to locate the image therefore w should be very alert while providing alt to an image. It should be exactly what the image is.
  • filename - The image should be stored in correct filename else it will lead to wrong search results for the image.
  • The surrounding content of the image should be related to the image.

  • The content should be help the users for better understanding.
  • The content should be in simple language with less complicated sentences.
  • Words added with hyper links are called Anchor text 
  • Anchor text in the content helps to make the page more visible to google. 
  • We should never use keywords as anchor text.
  • When image is hyper linked the alt text of the image will act as the anchor text.
  • The keyword if listed before a coma or full stop then it will benefit the crawling process.
  • Always maintain space after each full stop.
